Abby is a friendly, charismatic 10-year-old who attends Spring Street School in Shrewsbury, Mass. Abby lives with her mom, Jenna, her dad, Gus, her older sister, Lily, and her golden retriever puppy, Paisley. Abby is most thankful for the loving people in her life—her family, friends, teachers, and those who are helping her get well.

Abby was diagnosed with a brain tumor in February of 2016 and is being treated by a dedicated and outstanding team at Dana-Farber's Jimmy Fund Clinic. Abby loves singing, acting, cooking, and making people laugh.

Abby has enjoyed playing softball over the last few years and especially loved being on the pitcher’s mound. Abby is currently taking a break from the sport to rebuild her stamina and strength but looks forward to being back on the field next season.

Abby wants to say a big thank you for helping to raise money for the Jimmy Fund Little League program. Your efforts make it possible for Abby and countless others to dream big and look forward to a happy, healthy future!

Jimmy Fund Little League 2017 Designated Hitter

Asher is an exuberant 6-year-old who just finished Kindergarten at Memorial School in Medfield, Mass. He lives with his mom, dad, little brother, August, dog, Brady, and cat, Caesar. When he is not working on Lego masterpieces, he is playing outside or creating his own world in Minecraft.

Asher was diagnosed with acute T-cell lymphoblastic lymphoma just before Christmas in 2015 and spent the next month charming nurses, doctors, and child-life specialists alike. He began treatment at Dana-Farber’s Jimmy Fund Clinic in January 2016, visiting twice a week for chemo until September 2016. Now, with the help of a weekly visiting nurse, he is only at the Jimmy Fund Clinic once every 3 weeks.

Asher and his family consider the Jimmy Fund Clinic to be a home away from home. Through the work of the Jimmy Fund Clinic team and the fundraising efforts of programs like Jimmy Fund Little League, Asher is undergoing treatment like a champ. This spring, Asher was finally able to begin play t-ball again and is looking forward to a summer full of fun!
